Your kid is 14 and ambulatory... Let him walk
Parents, are you so hell-bent on coddling your children that you won’t let them walk the five minutes from their house to the bus stop? I know the journey is fraught with peril, what with the risk of fresh air and exercise. The dangers of airborne leaves of course are also a constant threat. But c’mon, at this point they no longer need to be breastfed. While were on the topic, you also don’t need to be packing their lunch past the age of 10. If your kid is so lazy that they can’t throw together a sandwich the night before, maybe they don’t need to be eating lunch!
